American Athletic 512 Girls Figure Skates
Great skate for my daughter and inexpensive.
The sizes run small on this. You might want to get a size or two larger.So much better then the rental skates -- the blade is sharp and not all dinged up.The boots probably aren't as comfortable as more expensive boots, but my daughter hasn't complained and the skates have dramatically improved her skating.
I also bought the mens skate that is basically the same model and just paid for shipping one time as sold by skatebuys through amazon with one checkout. The sizes also run small on this -- I wear a 9.5 to 10 shoe and bought a size 11 skate which fits just right. I haven't skated on sharp blades for over 20 years -- it's great(I didn't pay for the extra sharpenning and they are plenty sharp).
The boots could be a bit more comfortable especially the upper tong -- but as they break in they are getting more comfortable.
