(More customer reviews)You just can't put wet-bladed skates into your bag, so bring a towel always or, better, get some skateguards like these to protect the bladees from the inevitable jostling they get in your bag.
While these guards will soak up some of the water, PLEASE do your skates a favor & wipe down the blades nice & dry with these (or a towel!) first, because your blades probably aren't stainless (in which case they'll rust in short order). Also, unlike hard plastic skateguards, these terrycloth models won't do much to protect your blades when you're walking around on them and you should NEVER walk on anything but the rubber floor of an ice rink in these: You'll probably cut through the guards and and will certainly damage your blades.
