(More customer reviews)First off, I thought these shorts were just going to be black and white plaid, but they actually have a light blue in them as well. So, they weren't what I expected, but they were still nice and my son likes them. I bought a size 26 and they seem to run about a size 12..maybe a slim 12. I ordered more in size 28 because I think he needs the extra room.
The plaid design itself looks different in person than online. There are no heavy/thick lines in the plaid. It is thinner lines. They are still nice - just not what I expected after seeing them here at Amazon.
They are a thinner material that will be comfortable for summer. I think they will need ironed though after washing. These are shorts that you could easily wear casually or for more dressy occasions. Very versatile.
Can't beat the price for such a nice pair of shorts. I definitely recommend them.
