(More customer reviews)I've used a lot of bicycle helmets over the last 30 years. The Bell Faction is the best commuting helmet. It's one of the only helmets that you can put a rear-view mirror onto. The helmet seems safer than because the vents are smaller, the shell is thicker, and the helmet comes down further in the back and on the sides. I've never felt hot wearing this helmet. I wouldn't want to wear it on a five-mile climb on a 90-degree day, but for riding around town it's fine. In the winter I tape over the vents and stuff the vents with foam. Below 20 degrees I wish it had a fleece liner, but next winter I'll figure out how to make one.
