In the top part of the tongue there is a zipper pouch where you can store money or receipts or whatever which is handy. Also these have a more athletic feel to them then your standard skating shoe. Definately a good shoe for under $20

DC Men's Pure Slim Skate Shoe Review

I don't normally like the wide style of most DC's for actually skateboarding (it feels off to me) so its nice to have a slim model for better board control (it is noticeably slimmer). Also they are well made have proven to be very durable and lasted about 2x as long as my other skate shoes in recent history. All in all a great skate shoe.

They caught my eye while browsing online for a quality high top sneaker. I went looking in stores for a sneaker that I just had to have but nothing caught my eye. There were a pair of Adidas high tops that looked convincing but they were a size too small. I finally gave up and decided to look on Amazon, and lucky me, I happened to stumble on the Osiris Bronx and I fell in love.
I ordered the Black/White/Black version. They were true to size for me and the width was fairly snug, not bad though except, i don't have very wide feet. They're extremely comfortable and I love how cushioned they feel, like walking on the moon! They're extremely fashionable (at least I think so!) and I'm afraid to wear them for fear of dirtying them! I'm so impressed with these shoes that I've actually ordered the "Cuban" colored ones that have a crazy awesome color combination which Amazon sadly has no picture of :(. there are other really cool color combinations (like black, red, and, white) that Amazon doesn't sell, so if you like the style of the shoe but not the colors, just look at other online retailers to find a color that suits you.

After a little longer I have changed my opinion. Two weeks after I bought these shoes I ruptured my achilles tendon and it has pretty much screwed up everything. I had surgery and I've been in bed for a long time. All I did was push off really hard. These shoes are very stiff. My tendon never hurt when I wore other shoes. This sucks because I really liked the shoes. I'm just really sick of being in bed and my previous review was definitely wrong.

I would buy any brand over these shoes now. Then again, I'm biased.

This exposed a hard, sharp plastic. The plastic destroyed my feet and my socks. Eventually I just cut as much of the plastic off as I could and I have had no problems since. If you want a good looking shoe for cheap I'd recommend it, just don't be upset when it goes to crap on you.
