Heelys Little Kid/Big Kid Shimmer Skate Shoe Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The sizes were described as "Kids."Our girls wear 4.5, and so we ordered size 5.Okey dokey? Not.

The Heely's arrived and when I opened the box, they looked awfully small.Upon inspection, the box AND the label said "WO's 5, Youth 4."On top of that, once we scrambled to a retailer (to pay $20 more per pair), they advised that Heely's run small to begin with.We bought size YOUTH 6 for the girls.

I don't know what "WO's" is (Women's?) but we were sold a size 4 Heely, and without enough time to exchange before Christmas.I'm sure the product is fine, they are all the rage here, but mail order purchasers need to be very careful with sizing.

Heelys Adult Escape Skate Shoe Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Adult Heely's are for the continuation of use for those kids that grew up addicted to gliding through life. They are well made and are normally relatively inexpensive (the full price above is shockingly high however, as they normally run in the $50 range).

Heelys shoes are more about that love of life we envy in our kids. When my son is in his Heely's, he exudes childhood joie de vivre. It takes a while to master these skate shoes, but that's what a kid's life is about-mastering new things at school and in life. He glides down the sidewalk, looking for handicap ramps wherever possible, and often glides into a graceful swirl more reminiscent of an ice skater than anything else.Heely's are the ultimate cool shoe, perfect for long strolls or glides through plazas. They let that essence of kid shine through, and encourage more activity.Keep you child close to a guide rail while learning to use these, and make sure they also learn to steer clear of other people to avoid accidents.

Our boy has been in these shoes for around 3 years now, and they seem a part of his sunshine personality. I'm so pleased they come in a size to match his adult size feet.

Highly recommended.

Heelys Little Kid/Big Kid Rapid Skate Shoe Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)There is nothing like the smell of a new shoe...especially when it arrives so quickly AND my son is anticipating it so much!Product was exactly as shown on the website, brand new and even the box was in excellent condition. The website warned that a proper fit required buying one sneaker size larger, which we did, and the fit is perfect. This version of the Heely's has two wheels per sneaker which should make it more stable - a good thing for a first timer. The wheels are removable (and installable) without tools.

Heelys Little Kid/Big Kid Sheer Skate Shoe Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)These were cool, without being too Goth or obnoxious. My daughter takes the wheels out and uses them as sneakers, which is a plus. If you've never gotten Heelys before though, be prepared for a few spills and minor tears. They require some skill, which needs to be practiced and learned like any other sport or activity. However, my kids beg to come to Lowes with me now so they can Heely up and down the aisles beside me. Also, great seller, great price, great shipping. Listen to their sizing for smaller kids and go up a size.

Heelys Little Kid/Big Kid Gila Skate Shoe Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)These shoes have a cool girlie design with good support and padding, but, I was misled by the description. These Heely's do not have a wheel in them. They are just a skateboarding shoe. When ordering them I was looking for a shoe with the wheel but that's not what I received. However, I am happy with the item and the price was good. I may return them for a pair with a wheel in the heel. Over all the shipping was fast and the product was good with a good price. I know my daughter would love the shoes, but we where looking for a pair with wheels.

(More customer reviews)My eleven year old begged for these.I had bought him two pair over the years - the cheapie knock-off types and they were a disappointment. So I took the plunge and bought these. He LOVES them and they are really far, far better than the cheapos. They seem to be holding up pretty well.(He's had them about a month.)He'll probably grow out of them before they fall apart.

Heelys Little Kid/Big Kid No Bones Lo Skate Shoe Review

(More customer reviews)My son had a pair of Heely's a few years ago that lasted a reasonable amount of time. This model, however, did not do as well. One day as he was heelying through the store, the center metal part simply came out of the wheel. Heely does not offer any assistance by telephone and replacement wheels are almost 15.00.

(More customer reviews)I'm very happy with my purchase. It's a great heely in disguise.everyone thinks they're chucks until they see the bottom.i'm also very pleased with the color.

i did also notice that the wheels have been slowed... it's nice but i prefer my old wheels cause they're faster... though the new ones would make learning easier.

They are easy to set (put and take the wheels), I also own a different pair and this particular model it's easier to maneuver and it's more comfortable.

Recommended for all of you heelys fans out there.
