(More customer reviews)I bought this helmet for my 7 year old stepson as part of his birthday present along with a new Mongoose bike. We've used it for 3 months.

He loves the helmet (and the bike!). It fits his head properly and is simple to adjust.I can't say it's a sharp looker...it's a flat black color which I don't think is represented well in the photos.I thought it was going to be a dark olive drab color.Not a big deal.He likes it and that's what matters!

The helmet has held up to being thrown on cement, rolled in the grass, and used to smash acorns and shows no noticeable damage or mars. A good sign in a bike helmet for your child!
