(More customer reviews)When I started skating, I of course used the skating rinks boots.Naturally, I felt uncomfortable and when I realized that I could possibly be good at skating, I asked my skating teacher what she would recommend.She started me out with a low level Jackson boot.As I progressed and started to land single jumps and started to compete, I moved up to the Freestyle boot.I find it to be a stable boot and gives great support on jumps.It also comes with a great blade for my level of skating.When doing edging moves, I feel confident.
The only draw back to the boot; is the break in period.I found the ankle area to be unforgiving and have to use bunga pads to skate now.
I look forward to upgrading again in the near future.Oh, by the way, I was 51 when I started; I'm now 56.I'll never be a Michelle Kwan, but for the price and satisfaction I get from this skate, it was worth the purchase.
