(More customer reviews)I purchased this board for my little guy, mostly for the graphics which he really liked.I have not skated or used a skateboard in nearly thirty years so I was not sure what we should look for but this company's other boards seemed to rate fine my other son has a Team Positive and he is more into skating when he compared the boards he said that this was a good strong board and was well balanced for tricks.He did state that wheel could have improved bearings, he has abec 9 and you can see the difference in how they spin.He did mention that as a new boarder it is better to have a slower wheel.Well both my boys are very happy withthe board; my older son can do all his tricks and slides and my younger son loves the look and for that I give it five stars.The paint, grip tape and overall build were all as they should be as well.

(More customer reviews)After much research and shopping around for a good quality tricycle for my two-year-old, I found this Roadmaster - and am very pleased!My main criteria for choosing a tricycle were:
(1) The trike should not be tippy.Several popular models (like the Radio Flyer Fold 2 Go) seem to tip over with the slightest nudge.
(2) The tires should be made of rubber, not hard plastic.Plastic tires provide a rough ride, are loud on rough pavement, and show their wear much moreso than rubber tires.
(3) Value - While I don't mind spending more for better quality/features, some models seem overpriced for what they offer.

My 3-year-old son has a Schwinn Roadster 12-Inch Trike (Red) (also highly recommended), but I had been considering the Radio Flyer classic red dual-deck tricyclefor my 2-year-old, until finding this Roadmaster model.The quality and features seem comparable to the Radio Flyer (minus the streamers on the handlebars).It has nice solid metal construction, and rubber tires.The trike is nice and stable.Assembly was required, but was straightforward.At the lowest adjustable seat position, my 2-year-old can reach the pedals nicely, and should be able to grow with the trike for some time.And, of course, the ultimate test - my daughter loves it!This Roadmaster trike is a great unit, especially at its price point.

(More customer reviews)Alright, I went out on a limb when I bought this because, let's be realistic: one cannot hope to find a bathing suit at the end of the October for a good price.Enter: Amazon.I just got this bathing suit last week, and I have to say it is great.I am a 'more-than-average swimmer', I go swimming 3-4 times a week, even during the winter months (I swim in an indoor pool...).

Pros --
1.Very happy with the slimming of this new bathing suit as compared to my worn and stretched-out version (and also 'see-thru' spots where the chlorine got to it).It slims down the body very well and makes the legs look lengthy (something I need since I have short legs)

2.Since I swim in an indoor pool, it is, of course, a public pool with a high chlorine content.I chose to go with Blue instead of Black (because black, it seems to me, is more easily able to see the chlorine effects after a period of time), and so far the fabric seems to be holding up just fine against the outrageous chlorine content of the public pool.

3.I didn't buy this suit for style: I bought it because I needed something that I could wear 4 times a week at the gym.If you are looking for something stylish (and possibly low-cut), look elsewhere.But I needed a bathing suit that wouldn't 'ride down' when I was swimming, and this one is high-cut, which is just what I need to keep the ladies in place while I swim.

Cons --
1. Amazon is usually very fast with their shipping.I don't know if it is the time of year and I'm buying a stupid bathing suit or what, but the shipping this time was about 7-8 days, where usually it is about 3-4 days.If you need one quickly and it is during the 'not normal time' to buy a bathing suit in your corner of the universe, then I would go with the 1-2 day shipping or get it somewhere else.

2. Sizing.Oh boy.Let me just say this: if you are "pear-shaped", go with one size up from your cup size.I bought a 36 but I'm having a hard time getting my ass into it, next time I think I will go with the 38 and see how that turns out.SIZING TIPS

Of course, anything can help at this point, right?When you click on the "Sizing Chart", it gives you a sizing chart for Amazon.com, and NOT for Speedo.Don't even bother going to the Speedo website (unless you live outside the US, I mean), because it gives the whole sizing chart in centimeters, ugh.Speedo sizing chart can be found here:

Start with your bra size as a baseline, and adjust up or down depending on your waistline (or butt-line, in my case).

Jackson Artiste Womens Figure Ice Skates 2009 Review

(More customer reviews)This was my first pair of skates, and for a beginning figure skater, they are excellent value for money, and perform well.The boot provides ample support for beginning skating moves, but also breaks in easily.The blade is easy to control.These were the skates recommended to me by a figure skating pro shop, and I found them to be a great choice.I wore them for nearly two years before upgrading to a higher-level skate.These skates still had plenty of life left in them, and plenty of sharpening left in the blade, but I'd moved up to a higher level and needed something a bit more advanced.These skates did have several downsides.First, the pick on this blade is quite small.I had a hard time really utilizing my pick effectively for pivots and the like (I've since purchased a blade with a larger pick).Second, these boots do not have a tremendous amount of padding.They're fine if you're skating a few hours a week.When you're up to 10-20 hours, it's definitely time to move on.Third, this boot did not grip and stabilize my heel in the way that my higher-level boots do, but again, that's not really a big issue when one is beginning.These skates are marketed as suitable through single jumps, though I'd recommend upgrading before then.In sum, these skates were an excellent value and I got tremendous use out of them when I was a beginning skater (I'm an adult skater, so this is all adult experience).They definitely have their limits, but they'll see you through the basic skills program in a very economical fashion, so that you can then decide if you want to make a bigger investment in a higher-level skate.

Don Jackson Freestyle Ladies Figure Skates Review

(More customer reviews)When I started skating, I of course used the skating rinks boots.Naturally, I felt uncomfortable and when I realized that I could possibly be good at skating, I asked my skating teacher what she would recommend.She started me out with a low level Jackson boot.As I progressed and started to land single jumps and started to compete, I moved up to the Freestyle boot.I find it to be a stable boot and gives great support on jumps.It also comes with a great blade for my level of skating.When doing edging moves, I feel confident.

The only draw back to the boot; is the break in period.I found the ankle area to be unforgiving and have to use bunga pads to skate now.

I look forward to upgrading again in the near future.Oh, by the way, I was 51 when I started; I'm now 56.I'll never be a Michelle Kwan, but for the price and satisfaction I get from this skate, it was worth the purchase.

Six months is not an extremely long amount of time, but when you consider that it lasted through a three month swim season with two hour practices 6 days a week, in a pool filled with chlorine, the quality is undeniable. Rollerblade Fury Aggressive Skates Review

(More customer reviews)If you are not sure your child will get into aggressive inline skating, you might want to get these. However, if they like the sport, they will most certainly want a REAL pair of aggressive skates within a month. Having decent equipment makes all the difference. I would recommend Razor or USD Junior skates which run around 100 bucks and are adjustable up to 4 sizes. The TRS Junior skate by rollerblade is better than this Fury skate, but not nearly as good as the other 2 junior skates mentioned. If you are not a junior size, I would recommend any other Rollerblade aggressive models...some are as cheap as 130$ or any Razor models.I have been skating for 11 year and have taught for many years.

Ice Hockey Skate Guard Plastic Review

(More customer reviews)The product, Ice Hockey Skate Guard is well made, structurally speaking, but does not stay seated on the heel of the skate, making it useless as a protector for the blades.However, with a little Yankee ingenuity, one could substitute a rubber band for the more rigid, smooth (ergo slippery) heel strap.

Please note that this is NO reflection on the retailer - they did not make these, they just sell them.Perhaps they would work for a different shaped skate, but I have Easton hockey skates and the guard is useless for them.

I have had those, the 3 buckle men's Fusion, the spiritblade or purple thingy skates that are womens which I forgot the name of. I purchased the Twisters 243 because they are the style of the original Lightnings and more. They are MY ultimate skate. THANK YOU Rollerblade! They fit like bedroom slippers and move like a dream. I move out with them. Fabulous! I don't say this often but 10 stars... forget 5 stars. Nice when some companies get back to basics.... I love this skate. Thank you !

K2 The Don Mens Inline Skates Review

(More customer reviews)I haven't been on blades in years and recently have been feeling that old itch again. First off these blades are not for beginners out of the box they do not come with the brake outmatched, which for me is a huge plus because Ive always taken the back brake off. The barrings are nice and smooth and seem to roll forever. They have a really nice weight to them, not too heavy at all. The sizing is a little big, comparing to my shoe size, I ordered the size 11 and I usually fit in about a 9.5-10.5 shoe. The colors are nice not tacky. Being a former soldier I the DIGI-CAM kind of swayed me a little. As far as K2 is concerned these skates are classified in their "Commission" line. Which is second to the aggressive skate. In other words this is a pretty high end piece of equipment again not for beginners. So to wrap this up I would recommend these to just about any one that's more than comfortable on 8 wheels, you wont be sorry.

(More customer reviews)The RB-10s are nice but not nicer than my old lightning TRS that I got back some 15 years ago for less money. The wheels are nice and big and the bearings will keep you moving. The boot isn't the most comfortable for being Rollerblade's top of the line memory foam. I wanted to try the boots on before buying them but couldn't find any local shops that sell the higher end boot. For the quality, I would recommend just going to Big 5 or the like and getting a hundred dollar pair.

WE could not get through by phone to the company (skate buys)and gave up and took them to a local technician.He said the skates had been
storedimproperly by the company (or whoever stores them )and that
