(More customer reviews)My daughter has spina bifida.After looking at adaptive bikes/trikes that cost multiple times what the Mobito costs, I stumbled across this product.Now my little girl can ride around on her own and have a sense of independence!She feels secure because the trike is low to the ground.She also thinks the trike looks cool, which helps a lot.

I made two changes:

1) I installed pedals with foot cups from an adaptive trike.This allows her feet to be securely strapped in so that she can pedal for all she is worth - and she does!

2) I used a "hook and loop" (Velcro) strap to create a parking brake so that she can get on and off without the trike rolling around.

She has someone help her get her feet strapped in and then she is ready to go!

(More customer reviews)This product was an awesome birthday present for my son.He LOVES it.I will say that it was a little hard to put together.He also wishes that the tow rope was a litte longer but that doesn't seem to stop him from towing everything that moves.

(More customer reviews)This is honestly the perfect trike.My parents bought this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday and we couldn't be more pleased with it.It's sturdy, has the ability to be adjusted for greater longevity and is gorgeous.Its retro-looking (like the old, rounded bikes Schwinn once made) with a sleek design and curvy shape.We got the pink model for my daughter and though I'm not a fan of pink in general, its gorgeous.It makes me think of a mini-pink-lady when she's on it, like I need to get her a pink leather jacket and some motorcycle boots.

Its extremely safe.We tried so many models in different stores and none come close to this one.The back wheels are wide set with large wheels for great stability.All wheels are bycycle-type instead of hard plastic.My daughter can STAND in the seat and turn the wheel (no, we didn't advocate this when she did it) and it won't tip over!

My last kudos is that it was very easy to put together.My husband was away when we got it and I had no problem putting it together (despite lack of experience on my part).A few nuts and bolts here with clear instructions and no problem!

Worth the price and will probably last forever!Go Schwinn!

Roadmaster Duo Deck 10-Inch Trike Review

(More customer reviews)After much research and shopping around for a good quality tricycle for my two-year-old, I found this Roadmaster - and am very pleased!My main criteria for choosing a tricycle were:
(1) The trike should not be tippy.Several popular models (like the Radio Flyer Fold 2 Go) seem to tip over with the slightest nudge.
(2) The tires should be made of rubber, not hard plastic.Plastic tires provide a rough ride, are loud on rough pavement, and show their wear much moreso than rubber tires.
(3) Value - While I don't mind spending more for better quality/features, some models seem overpriced for what they offer.

My 3-year-old son has a Schwinn Roadster 12-Inch Trike (Red) (also highly recommended), but I had been considering the Radio Flyer classic red dual-deck tricyclefor my 2-year-old, until finding this Roadmaster model.The quality and features seem comparable to the Radio Flyer (minus the streamers on the handlebars).It has nice solid metal construction, and rubber tires.The trike is nice and stable.Assembly was required, but was straightforward.At the lowest adjustable seat position, my 2-year-old can reach the pedals nicely, and should be able to grow with the trike for some time.And, of course, the ultimate test - my daughter loves it!This Roadmaster trike is a great unit, especially at its price point.

(More customer reviews)It looked sturdy in the picture but was really made out of material a little thicker than tin foil. Also, a piece was missing that holds a wheel on. It was easy to assemble as long as you don't accidentally bend the metal pieces out of shape. One of our older kids was carrying it and accidentally dropped it in the gravel and it fell apart. We don't have a lot of money either, but my recommendation is to save the money up to buy a better bike.
