(More customer reviews)I needed a helmet because you have to have one to ride a bike or waveboard on base. After a bunch of reasearch and trying to read other reviews, I decided on this one because i did not want a normal looking bike helmet. The rubber coating on the outside is very smooth and it looks good too.

Pros:
-There are multiple air vents (11 of them total) to keep your head cool while riding.

-The sweatband material absorbers that cover the inside of the helmet are easily removable via velcro, which makes for easy washing when they get too dirty.

-Thick foam on the top for protection.

-Does not move too much when properly adjusted and does not sink down into your field of vision.

-Accomodates glasses with no problem

Cons:
-The price is a little more, but it isn't that much more than comparable models/styles. Depending on brand its about 5-10 dollars more.

-Size, I wear a 7 1/4 hat size and I ordered a large. The size chart says that it should accomodate up to a 59cm (7 3/8) but it fits a bit tight.
7 1/4 is approaching the limits of comfort.

I would recommend this helmet to those that wear the size listed. Hopefully I will never have to see if it will protect me from a split skull or concussion, but if I crash I will post an update.

I've fallen once since receiving them (very quick shipping from Amazon) and they protected my wrists and palms perfectly. I'd recommend these to anyone that needs a quality set of wrist guards. The price is good too.

Night and day difference in comfort.You really forget you are wearing a lid

with the Triple 8.The terry cloth lining keeps sweat from running down your face

in the deep south.For bombing big hills at speed, I'll stick to the hard foam or

full face helmet, but for general cruising/ freeriding on my longboard I'm wearing

this one.

(More customer reviews)Besides the fact this helmet is pink and matches my hair. I love this helmet because it fits me PERFECTLY! I wear this in a small and it fits my head perfect. I wear a medium in protec helmets, but the medium is a tad big and the Smalls were a tad small. So I am stoked to have this helmet. I can wear sunglasses with this Triple 8 helmet and it does not pinch my head or my ears. I upgraded and got the sweatsaver band padding in my helmet...which they do not offer in the pink. I am glad to upgraded...on hot summer days the sweatsaver...saves me from a sweaty face. I have bashed my head with this helmet on in the skate park, face planted with it in dirt and grass. It has saved my head so many times and I have loved this helmet so very much. It is so comfortable I never notice I am wearing it and never feel dumb or lame wearing this either.

(More customer reviews)I have been searching for a good pair of wrist guards since I always seem to catch myself when I fall off my skateboard.I went to a few sporting good stores and tried on the large wrist guards and they were way too small.Then I tried my friends mediums which were almost too big!I was a little confused as the sizing didn't seem standard.I am a adult male and have good sized hands and wrists thus I was hesitant to order something that I couldn't try on first.I went ahead and ordered them (large) and to my relief they fit great and when I took them out for a test run and they held up great.Again , the sizing seems to be for adults so if you are looking for kids try the pads that are labeled for kids or try the small.

Better than pro-techs, but still require gaskets underneath.
(at least for rollerderby, not sure about other uses).

(More customer reviews)I ordered this helmet here and hoped for the best. Sure enough the L/XL comes with adaptive inner foam lining that adjusts the helmet to a true XL. Great chin strap fit and very comfortable. Your ears are free to listen to music while you roller blade or skateboard or ??? and yet your skull is encased. You can stick stuff on the outside because it is completely smooth and not textured like some bike helmets. I especially like to put on a tiny rear view mirror with clamp. The other highlight is it is really well vented. I hate digusting sweat head. I am a grandma that loves her kick skooter, but I have to have a little dignity! You can add a visor if you want. Great helmet. Brain protection is super.
