Jackson Artiste Ladies Figure Skates Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought ladies figure skates from the "Figure Skating Store". I returned them because they were the wrong size and they charged me a 15% restocking fee. I didn't see that they would charge me that much on the web page. If I had, I wouldn't have purchased the skates from them.

Don Jackson Freestyle Ladies Figure Skates Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When I started skating, I of course used the skating rinks boots.Naturally, I felt uncomfortable and when I realized that I could possibly be good at skating, I asked my skating teacher what she would recommend. She started me out with a low level Jackson boot.As I progressed and started to land single jumps and started to compete, I moved up to the Freestyle boot.I find it to be a stable boot and gives great support on jumps. It also comes with a great blade for my level of skating. When doing edging moves, I feel confident.

The only draw back to the boot; is the break in period.I found the ankle area to be unforgiving and have to use bunga pads to skate now.

I look forward to upgrading again in the near future.Oh, by the way, I was 51 when I started; I'm now 56.I'll never be a Michelle Kwan, but for the price and satisfaction I get from this skate, it was worth the purchase.

Rollerblade Comet Ice Skates Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This skate runs one full size small, I wear a 10 in everything and I had to send it back for an 11.The quality seems to be good and it is very stiff laterally, which I was worried about prior to purchasing. The crank fastening system at the top is great for cinching the skate tighter than I would be able to with laces, and it's easier out in the cold weather since you don't have to remove your gloves.I don't play, just skate recreationally, and this skate is perfect for that.

Rollerblade Comet Womens Figure Ice Skates Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have been ice skating for about 4 months now, am in Basic 4, and can't STAND figures skates.I've been using the hockey skates at the rink but I wanted a pair of my own. These stood out because I get a hockey skate WITH a toepick so when I get to Basic 7 and 8, I'll be able to do some jumps.Love the toepick!

The thinsulate really keeps your feet toasty warm, which was such a relief to my icicle toes! The shoelaces, velcro, and buckle really strap you in so you can feel very snug and secure in your boot. They are a bit uncomfortable, but I'm sure this is because they are brand new and need to be broken in.

All in all, these are great skates for a beginner and especially for the price!

American Athletic Mens Tricot Lined Figure Skates Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This item has a great light weight feel once you put them on.
Ice skate as long as you can with these puppies on because you will not even feel them on your feet. There great! I only gave them a 4 star rating do to the extra flappy tongue that is very hard to lay right on your foot in the inside of the boot. Also, what ever size you wear make sure you get a size bigger so you have a bit of extra room for your toes to wiggle and if like me, like to put an extra pair of socks on for cushion. Other then that, it has a great sleek look that'll have heads turning while on that ice. Baby!
